My Story
Hi, I’m Will Gockeler. For the last four years, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to work as a professional backcountry guide in Yellowstone and across the USA. My career has always been driven by a love for adventure—whether it's riding snowmobiles through the untouched wilderness, ripping gears on a dirt bike, rafting down wild rivers, or pushing the limits. But while I thrive on the thrill of extreme sports, I’ve also discovered a new passion that brings a different kind of fulfillment: woodworking.
Woodworking has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. It started as a hobby when I was a young man, a way to unwind and focus after the adrenaline of the outdoors. Over time, though, it became much more than that. My dad and I realized that woodworking gave us a unique way to bond, working together to create something meaningful with our hands. That's when i decided to take the leap and turn our shared passion into a business.
Our woodworking venture is a labor of love, blending traditional craftsmanship with our personal touch. Every piece we create is a reflection of our dedication to quality and attention to detail, whether it's custom furniture, handcrafted décor, or larger projects. I’ve found that woodworking, much like guiding, requires patience, precision, and an understanding of the tools at your disposal. It’s a slower, more meditative process than the high-speed world of backcountry guiding, but it’s no less rewarding.
Now, my primary focus is on growing our woodworking business and continuing to build pieces that are both functional and artful. I still crave adventure, but woodworking has become a new kind of thrill—one that allows me to create, connect, and keep exploring new possibilities, but this time in the shop instead of the backcountry.
